Laknavaram Lake

About Laknavaram Lake

Laknavaram Lake is the manmade lake constructed by the rulers of Kakatiya dynasty in 13th century A.D. This Lake is located 17 kms away from Mulugu and 80 kms away from Warangal. An added attraction to this lake is the suspension bridge or hanging bridge. This hanging bridge takes you to the mini island in the lake. Boating facility is also present. The water in this lake is also used for the irrigation purpose.
