Venugopala Swamy Temple – Bobbili

About

The temple was built by the Kings of Bobbili. The temple was dedicated to Venugopala Swamy, the family deity of the Bobbili Royal family. The present form of the temple was built by the King Chinna Ranga Rao of the Bobbili dynasty. The temple tower at the entrance was built in 1851 AD by Swetha Chalapati Ranga Rao and the mandaps inside the temple were built by King Krishna Das Ranga Rao in 1825 AD.
