Papnash Shiva Temple – Bidar

About

Papnash Shiva Temple holds great religious significance, as it is believed that the Shivlinga enshrined here along with the temple was installed by Lord Rama while returning from Lanka.

There is a natural spring in front of the temple which flows into a pond popularly known as ‘Papnash’, and it is believed to wash away devotee’s sins and cleanse their souls, once they take a holy dip in the pond.
