Tadoba National park – Maharastra

About

Tadoba National Park is a top wildlife destination in Maharashtra and is adorned with thickets of teak & bamboo, and we can explore a wide range of animals like tigers, panthers, hyenas, sloth bears, wild dogs, jackals, barking deer, bison, sambar, and Royal Bengal Tigers, etc. Tadoba is one of the best wildlife destinations in India for an enthralling tiger sighting experience.

Safari Zones

The reserve is divided into three zones, each having different access gates:

  • Moharli (Mohurli) Zone: This zone is for the best tiger spotting and is also popular. It is easily accessible from the other two zones of Tadoba namely the Tadoba Zone and the Kolsa Zone.
  • Tadoba Zone: The Tadoba Zone is popular for offering diverse wildlife and scenic locations. It is also accessible from four gates at Moharli, Navegaon, Kolara, and Khutwanda.
  • Kolasa Zone: The Kolsa Zone is much liked for its striking forest landscapes as the possibilities of spotting wild animals are relatively lower in this zone. Entry to this zone is possible through gates at Moharli, Pangdi, and Zari.
