Kotipalli Someswara Swamy Temple is also known as Koti Theertham.
According to Brahmanda Puranam and Gowthami Mahatyam is located on the bank of the Godavari River. Here, Lord Indra, Lord Chandra, and Kasyapa Maharshi locate three prominent idols.
It is located on the banks of Gautami River at Kotipalle, Lord Shiva in the form of Koteswara Swamy, and Sri Someswara Swamy presides over here. This is also called the Temple of Uma Parvathi Devi Sahita Someswara Swamy Vari. Kotipalli is one of Kotipalle-Mukteswaram’s three major ferry points and the other two are Bodasakurru-Pasarlapudi and Sakhinetipalli-Narasapuram in the Konaseema area.
