Mahabubabad District is carved out of erstwhile Warangal District. The District is formed on 11-10-2016.The District shares boundaries with Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Jangoan, Warangal and Mulugu Districts. The Mahabubabad is the District Headquarters of the Mahabubabad District.
