Shree Gopala Krishna Temple is glittering with the beautiful blending of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamilnadu styles of Temple architecture. Shri Badekkila Shyamasundar Bhat, a reputed architect of Mysore had the privilege of carving out statues of four-armed Sri Gopalakrishna, the incarnation of Sri Mahavishnu and Sri Mahaganapathi. The memorable occasion of the inauguration, the Brahmakalasha, Religious discourses, and mass feeding or “Maha Annasantharpane” took place between 25th April to 30th April 2007. In these religious functions, several Holy Swamijis of the region and celebrated personalities, and a very large number of devotees did participate. The ‘Brahmakalashothsava Samithi’ has been constituted having Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala as the Honorary President, and Shri N. Vinaya Hegde, Chairman of Nitte Educational Institutions as the Working President and many dignitaries of the region as members. The Advisory Committee has consisted of Prof. M.B. Puranik, Capt. Ganesh Karnik and Dr. P. Ananthakrishna Bhat. The entire pious ‘Brahmakalasha’ and ‘Prathishta’ of God have been performed by a renowned Thantri Shri Uleya Vishnu Asra, with the presence of Shri Arikkadi Narayana Deva Poojithaya, the Adyathmika Guru of Shri K.C. Naik.
