About Sri Kashi Vishweshwar Temple

Sri Kashi Vishweshwar Temple – Sangareddy is an ancient temple of deity Lord Shiva. This temple is located in Kalpagooru village close to the Manjeera Barrage near Sangareddy, Telangana.

This temple is famous for its beautiful architecture. The temple resembles Thousand Pillar Temple in Warangal. Sri Kasi Vishweswara temple is seen towards the southern portion of garbhaalayam. The temple is also called as Trikootaalayamu as it also have Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple towards west side & Sri Venugopala Swamy temple towards north side of garbhaalayam.

According to legend, this temple was built on water stream coming from holy Kasi. It is said that if a coin is dropped in garbhaalayam of Sri Venugopala Swamy temple, then one can hear a sound similar to that of a coin being dropped in water.

By Bus : Sangareddy Bus Station is 10 km away.
