About Sri Shyam Mandhir 

Sri Shyam Prabhu was the grand son of Bheem, second brother among the ‘Panchapandavas’ and the son of Veer Ghatotkach. He was named Barbaric. By Upadesa by Lord Sri Krishna Barbaric offered devotion to Bhagawathi Durga Mata. Happy with this Deviji appeared and blessed him with three arrows of different kinds.

When Barbaric was on his way to watch the Mahabharat war Sri Krishna transformed as Brahmin, asks him to sacrifice his head to him.
