Kothapally waterfalls is near to southeastern coast of India at Gangaraju Madugula, near Paderu. The falls were only recently discovered by a village boy, Vanthala Abbi. Although the falls lack any public infrastructure, they have become a tourist attraction in the Visakhapatnam.
The Kothapally waterfalls are surrounded by Chintapalle Mandal to the south, Paderu Mandal to the east, Venus Bayalu Mandal to the north, and Madugula Mandal to the east. There are 2 bridges one at the beginning and one at the middle portion of the waterfalls.
There are some strawberry farms nearby and you will find people selling them at this spot. These are organically grown and are big in size, fresh and tasty.
