Starting at Vijayapuri at the extreme north Nagarjunakonda Dam to Tirupati at the southern edge.

At the western edge of Malyadri stands the Ahobhila Narasimha Swamy. At the northwest of Malyadri stands SriSailam. North side of Malyadri has the Krishna River.Sri Mahalakshmi Devi, goddess of Malyadri at the top of the Hill.

One day Srimannarayana Swamy was on Seshathalpam and Sri Mahalakshmi at his feet on PalaSamudram. He said to her in the event that if you have any personality at the top of the priority list, let me know, I will do it for you. She said with a grin I got you as a spouse, that is extraordinary for my life, yet now there are less number of Divya Kshetras on earth so the lovers can’t go there on account of costs. The God acknowledged Mahalakshmi. He said to Vanamala to make a great Parvata(Hill) on earth so that Vanamala has changed as Malyadri.
