Anantapur District
Anantapur is one of the four districts in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, with its headquarters at Anantapur city. The district is home to Gooty Fort, one of the oldest hill forts in Andhra Pradesh, built during the Vijayanagara period on a hill about 300 metres high, with a shell-shaped layout and 15 main doors.

- Gugudu – about 29 km from Anantapur, known for its Moharrum festival and fire-walking ceremony.
- Kasapuram – near Guntakal, home to the Nettikanti Veera Anjaneya Swamy temple, visited by both Hindu and Muslim worshippers.
- Jambu Dweepa, Konakondla – about 70 km from Anantapur, features a Jain cosmographical diagram carved in stone, with nearby temples dating to around the 13th century.
