Karimnagar District
Karimnagar is a city in the state of Telangana and the headquarters of Karimnagar district. During the Nizam era, the name Karimnagar was given for a village by an Elgandala Qiladar, Syed Karimuddin. It is the fifth largest city in the state and is situated on the banks of the Manair River, a tributary of the Godavari River.

- Yagna Varaha Swamy temple, Karimnagar
- Sri Raja Rajeshwara Temple — about 38 km from Karimnagar, with idols of Sri Raja Rajeswari Devi and Sri Laxmi Sahitha Siddi Vinayaka; it draws pilgrims year-round, especially during Maha Shiva Rathri.
- Lower Manair Dam — about 6 km from Karimnagar town, built between 1974 and 1985, standing 41 metres high and 10,471 metres long, and used for irrigation via the Kakatiya Canal.
- Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple — a shrine built about 300 years ago housing idols of Anjaneya Swamy, Lord Venkateswara and Goddess Lakshmi.
