Wanaparthy District

Wanaparthy district is one of the districts of Telangana state. After the formation of the Telangana government, Wanaparthy was formed as a new district comprising 14 mandals.

Places to visit in Wanaparthy District

Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple, Srirangapuram (Pebbair) — built during the 18th century AD.
Saralasagar Project — an irrigation project that uses a siphon system.
Wanaparthy Palace (Mustafa Mahal) — a historical landmark in Wanaparthy.
Pangal Fort — Pangal.
Ghanpur Fort — Ghanpur, an area historically ruled by the Recherla Padmanayaka, Malyala and Gona dynasties in the 13th century.
