About Sri Siddharameshwara Swamy Temple-Bhiknoor
Sri Siddharameshwara Swamy Temple-Bhiknoor is in Kamareddy District. The temple is one of the ancient and famous temple in Telangana. Sri Siddharameshwara Swamy is the main deity of this temple, who is the incarnation of Lord Shiva. Here the deity is in the form of Shivalingam and Shivabhoo.
This temple is one of the rare temples of Lord Shiva in South India. But speciality of this temple is reverse position of the Shiva linga in garbhalaya. Villagers believe that the Lord here fulfil all the desires of his devotees. Particularly thousands of devotees from all over Telangana arrives here and worship Sri Siddheswara Swamy with at most devotion.
The temple has a beautiful Mukhamandapa with well-sculptured pillars. There is also a Rajagopura is at the entrance of the temple with 7 kalasas. At the same time, the construction structure of temple has good architectural values.
There is a water well near temple and water is available throughout the year. Similarly, the surrounding environment of the temple is very peaceful. And here a big bell is present in the temple and attracts every visitor.
Mahashivaratri celebrated as the most important festival at this temple. On the day of Mahashivaratri a huge number of devotees from various regions of Telangana state reach here and worship Sri Siddharameshwara Swamy with several pujas and Sevas.

By Air: The closest airport is the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, at a distance of 150km.
By Train: You can reach Bhiknoor from Secundrabad(SC) or Kacheguda(KCG) by travelling in a train. Secundrabad to Bhiknoor Passenger trains are available. Kacheguda to Kamareddy train takes approximately 2 hours 22 minutes. From Nizamabad to Bhiknoor Via Kamareddy Passengers trains are available, Nizamabad to Bhiknoor train takes approximately 1hour 40minutes.
By Road: The temple is around 10Kms from Ramayampet,15 Kms from Kamareddy, around 90 Kms from Hyderbad on the National Highway NH-44. From Nizamabad to Hyderabad via kamareddy Express Buses Travel through Bhiknoor.
