Sri Tadbund Veeranjaneya Swamy Temple, also known as Tadbund Hanuman Temple, is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, located in Tadbund, Secunderabad, Telangana, India. The presiding deity, Lord Veeranjaneya Swamy, is worshipped as a powerful protector and fulfiller of wishes.

Historical Significance

The temple is believed to be over 400 years old, with the main deity, Sri Veeranjaneya Swamy, being a “Swayambhu” (self-existent) idols of Lord Hanuman and Lord Vinayaka, both remarkably carved from the same sacred rock.

Architecture & Temple Features

  • Main Sanctum (Garbha Griha) – Houses the imposing idol of Lord Veeranjaneya Swamy in a standing posture, adorned with sacred vermilion (sindoor) and gold ornaments.

  • Temple Tower (Gopuram) – Though not very tall, the entrance is decorated with intricate carvings of Hanuman and other deities.

  • Prakarams (Circumambulation Paths) – Devotees perform pradakshina (circumambulation) around the sanctum.

  • Sacred Pipal Tree – The tree under which the idol was discovered still stands within the temple complex, adding to its spiritual aura.

  • Other Shrines – The temple also has small shrines dedicated to Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Lakshmana, and Lord Venkateswara.

  • Morning: 4:00 AM to 12:30 AM

  • Tuesday & Saturday: 4:00 AM (followed by Sindhura Alankaram and Vishwaroopa Alankaram)
  • Other Weekdays: 5:00 AM

  • Daily (except Tuesday & Saturday): Morning 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Evening 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM

The temple also offers various prasadam varieties on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Annadanam (free meals) is provided to devotees on Tuesdays and Saturdays after the Harathi at 12:00 PM.
