About Telangana
Telangana is one of the states in India. Telangana state consists of 33 districts. The capital city of Telangana is Hyderabad. Telangana, as a geographical and political entity, was inaugurated formally on June 2, 2014 as the 29th and youngest state in the Union of India. The largest district is Bhadradri Kothagudem, whereas Hyderabad is the smallest district. Telangana is bordered by Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh in the north, Karnataka in the west, and Andhra Pradesh in the south and east. Major cities of the state include Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Khammam, and Karimnagar. Sri K Chandrashekar Rao was sworn in as the first Chief Minister of Telangana.
