Telangana is one of the state in India. Telangana state consists of 33 districts. The capital city of Telangana is Hyderabad. Telangana, as a geographical and political entity it was inaugurated formally on June 2nd 2014 as the 29th and the youngest state in Union of India. The largest district is Bhadradri Kothagudem whereas Hyderabad is the smallest district. Telangana is surrounded by Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh in the North, Karnataka in the West and Andhra Pradesh in the South and East directions. Major cities of the State include Hyderabad, Warangal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, Khammam and Karimnagar. Sri K Chandrashekar Rao was sworn in as the First Chief Minister of Telangana.
