About Karnataka

Karnataka is a state in southern India, with Bengaluru — known as the “Silicon Valley of India” — as its capital. The state has a 320 km coastline along the Arabian Sea and spans diverse landscapes, from the coffee-growing hills of Coorg to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi. Mysuru is often called the state’s cultural capital, home to the Mysore Palace, which is lit with around 100,000 bulbs each evening. Coastal destinations include Udupi, Gokarna, and Maravanthe Beach, while Nagarhole National Park and the Kabini region are known for wildlife, including black panther sightings.
